Lisa Carlon recalls that she has been making music since she was 8 or 9 years old. She started training on the piano and then went on to play the acoustic guitar and bass.
She studied composition and bass at University of Louisville school of music with Chris Fitzgerald for five years. Then, she began to offer music lessons to adults and children alike.
Now she teaches vocals, bass, piano, guitar and keyboards in her music studio.

Began piano lessons at eight years old with Sister Mary Bernadette. Studied privately for two and a half years.
